Fibre arts are a personal passion and what I do to relax! In the early 2000s I taught myself to sew so that I could make my own clothes. Knitting soon followed, and I went on to cut out high street fast-fashion consumption and aimed for sustainable and ethical purchasing in my sewing and knitting materials.

In 2023 I trained as a pattern technical editor, and so now I am offering a full range of pattern translation, proofreading & technical services via my sister brand, a certain style.

I love it when my passion for handcrafts and my passion for languages can combine to help what are often small and independent business owners reach a wider market and share their passion.
